Echoes of Heart and Impact: HA Valedictorians Inspire at HSUHK Graduation 2025

Graduation is never simply a ceremony. It is a moment of reflection, a celebration of growth, and a leap into the unknown.

This year, at the HSUHK Graduation Ceremonies 2025, seven students were chosen to speak on behalf of their graduating classes. Among them, four were members of the Honours Academy, each one a shining example of what it means to lead with purpose, to serve with passion, and to live with impact.

We are immensely proud to celebrate the heartfelt contributions of the following HA graduates, who served as valedictorians for their respective Schools: (in the ceremonial order of their appearance)

Mr Robert CHAN – HA 3rd Cohort, School of Decision Sciences

These four valedictorians crafted their messages from the heart, reflecting on their journeys, honouring the people who walked beside them, and offering hope to those who will follow.

Even amidst the beginnings of their postgraduate studies or professional careers, they dedicated extra hours to prepare for this moment. They returned to campus for rehearsals. They met with mentors. They practiced late into the night, not for perfection, but for sincerity.

This is what it means to be part of the Honours Academy.
This is what it means to lead with heart.

Their selection as valedictorians is no coincidence. It reflects the essence of the HA spirit: a commitment to excellence that is never self-serving, a deep sense of responsibility to give back, and a belief that leadership is about listening as much as speaking
