The Honours Academy (HA) is proud to announce the participation of Para Cheng, HA 4th cohort student, as the featured pianist at HSUHK’s Appreciation and Naming Ceremony of Yip Kit Chuen and Yuen Yuk Hing Hall on 18 October 2024.

Para’s exquisite performance lent a touch of elegance and artistry to this momentous occasion, which was attended by esteemed guests, including Dr Yip Kit-chuen and his family, Dr Moses Cheng, Chairman of the HSUHK Council, and Professor Simon Ho, President of HSUHK. The Hall was filled with admiration as Para’s music echoed through the event, adding a deeply personal and memorable element to a day of gratitude and celebration.

That Para was invited to perform at such a prestigious university event speaks volumes about his talent and the trust placed in him to represent HA. His participation not only showcased his musical prowess but also reinforced the values that HA stands for—developing students who excel in multiple dimensions, both academically and artistically. Para’s involvement in this event underscores HA’s mission to nurture versatile student leaders capable of making meaningful contributions, not only within the university but also to the broader community.

Thank you, Para, for embodying the spirit and excellence of the Honours Academy. You are an inspiration to us all.
