Leadership in Action: HA 5th Cohort’s Charis Kong MCs HSUHK’s Flag-Raising Ceremony on National Day

On 1 October 2024, The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) celebrated the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China with a flag-raising ceremony. Over 200 members of the university’s management, staff, and students gathered for this solemn and meaningful occasion.

We are immensely proud to highlight the contributions of Charis Kong, our HA 5th cohort student, who served as the Master of Ceremony (MC) for the event. Charis’s poise, professionalism, and eloquence ensured the smooth flow of the ceremony, setting a respectful and dignified tone throughout.

At HA, we take great pride in our students’ ability to rise to the occasion in both academic and public settings. Charis’s exemplary performance is a reflection of HA’s mission to develop well-rounded, civic-minded leaders who contribute meaningfully to society.

Once again, we extend our deepest thanks to Charis for her role in making the flag-raising ceremony a memorable and meaningful event. We look forward to seeing her continue to excel and contribute positively to both the university and the wider community.
