Big Hearts, Bright Voices: HA Student Leaders Inspire Secondary School Students from Across the Border
26 Jul 2025 (Sat)
When the Chi Wah Foundation and a delegation of students and teachers from six Mainland Chinese schools visited HSUHK on 26 July 2025, the welcome was warm and to the HA community, it was even warmer with the voices of our two HA student representatives.
While the visit also included presentations on admissions and our university development led by our Vice-Presidents, and other senior management members from the Global Affairs Office, Registry and Advancement and Alumni Affairs, our HA students, Arti Liu from the 4th cohort and Helen Zeng from the 5th cohort, visualised the student heartbeat of the University.
These two HA students shared their personal journeys at HSUHK, and in Hong Kong. Their journeys have been eventful, shaped by challenges, opportunities, and growth both inside and beyond the classroom. And in just a few minutes, they managed to capture this experience in a way that was succinct, heartfelt, and deeply relatable.
Their preparation was evident, but it was their sincerity that made the biggest impact. Their sharing and their leading the campus tour all gave the younger students a real, human glimpse into what it means to grow and thrive at HSUHK.
To Arti and Helen: thank you for showing what it means to be a giver, and a leader.
