MC with Pride at the Legislative Council

On 8 July 2025, two Honours Academy (HA) student leaders, Ocean Ng from HA 3rd cohort and Yan Zhuang HA 5th cohort, took on a leadership role as Masters of Ceremony for the “Smart Money Challenge 2025 for Hong Kong Secondary Students cum Legislative Council Experience Day”, held at the Legislative Council Complex.

Jointly organised by HSUHK, the Youth Innovation Development Charity (YIDC), and the Youth Concentric Association, the event brought together secondary school students, educators, and policymakers to promote financial literacy and civic engagement.

Ocean and Yan led the full-day programme with professionalism—welcoming distinguished guests, connecting with participants, and keeping the atmosphere engaging throughout. Their confident presence at Hong Kong’s highest legislative chamber was a proud moment for the HSUHK community, showcasing our HA leaders’ readiness to lead on meaningful platforms, such as this particular one that sparks dialogue on financial planning and governance among the next generation.
