根據環保署《香港固體廢物監察報告》的資料，估計香港平均每日有超過 500 萬個膠樽被棄於堆填區。有多個商業機構今年就聯同環保組職在香港多個地方設置「智能膠樽回收機」，以回贈現金入八達通或累積分數換領禮物的方式，鼓勵消費者回收膠樽。 記者到多個商場實地了解回收機初期使用及運作情況，市民普遍認為，相比起傳統三色回收箱，膠樽回收機能提供回贈，提高了他們回收膠樽的意願；有家長就帶同小孩子一同使用回收機，作為親子環保教育。不過記者亦發現，部分回收機入滿樽後未有及時清空，令部分市民白行一趟，影響回收意欲。亦有市民認為，部分回收機設置的位置偏僻，會影響使用人次。 記者: 陳美詩 李潔瑜 梁詠琪 鄧俊澎 溫善茹 https://ha.hsu.edu.hk/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/智能膠樽回收-50m.mp4
