Honours Academy Inauguration Ceremony for the 4th Cohort
The Honours Academy (HA) held its Inauguration Ceremony for the 4th cohort on 20 October 2023. This momentous occasion marked the official induction of the 16 aspiring new students, with the University management, Professional and Academic Fellows, faculty members, staff and parents in attendance.
All guests received a warm welcome from HA’s senior students as they presented their learning journeys through vivid videos and photos. Taking the stage, the HA students led an engaging programme, from the traditional pinning ceremony, the cohort-to-cohort gifting, to a highly energetic student performance in the form of a musical revolving around the powerful message of “We are all in this together”.
To honour their generous contribution, HA’s Professional and Academic Fellows were invited to participate in a symbolic “grow a starry tree” ceremony, adorning the stage with golden stars that represent their support and blessings to the new cohort. Council Chairman Dr the Hon Moses Cheng and President Ho also encouraged HA students to create positive impacts in society through embracing service leadership. The ceremony concluded with a joyous tea reception where the latest addition to the HA family celebrated the beginning of their three-year interdisciplinary HA journey with their mentors, parents and guests.
榮譽學院第四屆學員啟動禮
榮譽學院（HA）於2023年10月20日舉行第四屆學員啟動禮。大學管理層、學院專業及學術院使、教職員和家長聚首一堂，見證16位新同學加入榮譽學院。
來賓透過榮譽學院的影片和高年級生的介紹，認識學院多元化的領袖訓練。之後，新學員上台接受榮譽學院徽章及上一屆學員傳承的禮物。學員們齊心協力，演出一套以「我們同在」為主題的音樂劇，以強勁節拍展示學員的團結友愛。
為感謝學院專業及學術院使的貢獻，他們被邀請參與「種植星光樹」儀式，以金色星星點亮台上的大樹，象徵其對新學員的祝福。校委會主席鄭慕智博士和校長何順文教授均鼓勵學員實踐服務領導，為社會作積極貢獻。最好，新學員與他們的導師、家長和嘉賓茶聚，慶祝未來三年的跨學科榮譽學院之旅正式開始。
