HA5’s Kin Lau Carries the Torch as English MC at the 76th National Day Dinner for Higher Education

We are proud to share a moment of distinction and continuity for the Honours Academy and HSUHK: Kin Lau (HA5) was invited to serve as the English-speaking Master of Ceremonies (MC) at the dinner of the 76th Anniversary of the People’s Republic of China: The Higher Education Sector of Hong Kong, an annual formal event attended by government officials, university leaders, and stakeholders from across Hong Kong’s tertiary institutions.

This marks a rare and meaningful continuity of excellence:

Last year, Isaac Li (HA3) held the same role and made such a strong impression that organisers requested another HSUHK student this year: a significant exception in an event where roles usually rotate between universities.

Kin stepped up with confidence, professionalism, and heart — showing exactly the kind of leadership we cultivate at HA.
